Rubidium peroxide hydrate, RbO-OH,H₂O₂

Hydrogen peroxide reacts with rubidium hydroxide in alcoholic solution to form the peroxide hydrate, a white, deliquescent solid, stable below 0° C., but decomposing at higher temperatures with evolution of oxygen, and formation of a substance which is probably a hydrated tetroxide.
